Registration begins at 9:30 am with a
shotgun start at 11am
at Verdict Ridge Country Club in Denver, NC.

The eighth annual 2023 Lake Realty Spiritus Masters (presented by Aspire Wealth Management and Apiture) is more than just a golf tournament. It is a full day of golf, food, fellowship and fun in a classy, upscale setting on a challenging golf course. We are expecting a full field of 132 golfers and 200 total attendees again for this year’s event.

All proceeds benefit Spiritus Project, a fully accredited 501(c)(3) charity. The purpose of the Spiritus Project is to provide various forms of direct, need-based financial assistance to adult cystic fibrosis patients in an effort to reduce stress and provide an improved quality of life. The current focus of Spiritus Project is to assist patients in the Carolinas and Virginia receiving their primary care via UNC Hospitals and the UNC Adult CF Center.

Thru 2022, the all volunteer team at Spiritus Project has touched the lives of these patients over 2,200 times through financial assistance and/or hospital admission/refill bags. The average amount provided is currently $80,000 per year. The majority of the assistance provided goes directly toward basic needs such as medical bills, food, lodging, transportation and utilities.

The golf event is a scramble format, thus affording both expert and novice golfers a memorable experience. Using handicaps, the field will be divided into four equitable flights before play with a winning team from each flight. A variety of contests before and during the event afford participants even more opportunities to take home a prize.

The 2022 Lake Realty Spiritus Masters golf tournament held on April 11, 2022 was a great success, raising over $110,000 for area adult cystic fibrosis patients. Thank you so much to the sponsors, golfers and volunteers who make this possible!
